The Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading your truck with products as required.
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections as required.
- Report major vehicle deficiencies to the Customer Service Representative.
- Check load to assure all is accounted for and secured.
- Remembering scheduled delivery routes.
- Delivery time management.
- Maintain customer inventory.
- Providing customers with electronic.
- Collecting payments and customer names and signatures at time of delivery as required.
- Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers.
- Truck cleanliness inside and out as per Company Policy.
- Preventative vehicle maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- A class 5 or better driver's license.
- Air brakes certificate is a bonus.
- Ability to back up a 22’ van body truck.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission is a bonus.
- A clean driving record (annual 10 year abstract required)
- Criminal record check by RCMP.
- Must be able to lift/carry 50+ lbs. frequently.
- Must be able to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and sitting for long periods.
